Outdoor Play Improvements

We are thrilled to report that following a successful funding application, our PTA have been able to move forward with their project to improve the Key Stage 4/5 outdoor area.
As you’ll be aware, on the school site we have excellent equipment in place for EYFS, Key Stage 2 and 3 however, Key Stage 4 and 5 were lacking in facilities. The PTA wanted to provide the pupils with more fun, accessible outdoor play items.
The new installations will allow our pupils to continue their development outside the classroom as they build cognitive and physical attributes, whilst improving their social skills as they build relationships and interact with other children.
These resources were supported by match funding from the Boshier Hinton Foundation. The charity has the overall aim to improve quality of life for people with disabilities or learning difficulties and their families.
The school were proud to show Thea and John from Boshier Hinton around the school to help shape the vision of the playground, alongside pupil voice from the children and young people from Boston Endeavour Academy.
With huge thanks to both Boshier and our wonderful PTA!
Take a look at the children enjoying the new equipment…
