BEA CAREERS EVENT – THURS 13TH OCT
On Thursday 13th October, we will be hosting our Careers Fair all day (9am until 3pm) in the school hall.
We have invited a range of professionals from social day opportunities settings, further education settings, local businesses, the Careers and Enterprise Company and local businesses.
The SEND Employment Lead – Scott Eley will also be attending for the full day.
During the event, pupils and parents will have the opportunity to speak to the various professionals who can help to answer any questions they may have about transition planning for the future. We hope that our Careers Event will provide you with the opportunity to fully inform you of the many services and support networks available.
The event will be open for the full day to provide parents and carers with the opportunity to attend at a convenient time. All parents and carers are welcome to attend regardless of your child’s age. We feel that it is important to start to think about post school pathways as early as possible to help identify the most suitable pathway for each pupil and to maximise their outcomes.
Our Post 14 pupils will be involved in the planning and running of the event, and will be making and serving light refreshments as well as meeting and greeting you.
